Fix-A-Chip Ltd. is a subsidiary of
Interclean Ltd. Both companies are based in the North
East of England. Interclean specialises in providing a
contract valet service to car dealerships and has over
350 valeting operatives working in car dealerships across
the UK. The directors of Interclean and Fix-A-Chip
have an extensive knowledge and personal contacts in the
dealerships and fleet sectors of the UK car market and
have successfully developed these for the benefit of
Fix-A-Chip and its franchisees.
Fix A Chip now has 35 mobile franchisees and 5 retail
units.
The Fix-A-Chip Process
Most vehicles acquire minor damage to their bodywork
and bumpers caused by chips, scratches or scuffs, seat
burns, dashboard or windscreen damage. As the amount of
damage increases, the overall look of the cars starts to
deteriorate as does the value!
Fix-A-Chip have
developed systems to repair minor damage on the bodywork
and interiors of cars, commercial vehicles and motorbikes
at a fraction of the cost of a respray or replacement of
the affected part, and the whole process is usually
carried out in less than one hour.
The system involves the use of specialist chemicals,
paints and equipment to clean, repair and repaint minor
damage to vehicle bodywork and interior.
In the vast majority of cases the finish achieved by a
trained Fix-A-Chip operator is so good that the new owner
is not even aware that the bodywork has been treated.
Quality - The Critical Ingredient
The Fix-A-Chip business is based upon three principles
- the quality of our system, the quality of our service
and the continuing offer of value for money to our
customers. In all areas of the business our approach is
the thorough and professional and this has proven to be a
sound recipe for success.
We have developed
quality assurance systems and procedures awarded ISO 9002
to ensure our customers receive a high standard
workmanship and customer care.
In plain English this means that we not only know how
to generate new customers but we know how to retain our
existing ones. All new franchisees are trained to use the
same quality procedures and principles to develop their
business.
