The greetings card industry in the UK benefits from year-on-year growth and was worth £903 million in 1994, reflecting an increase of 35% between 1989-1993.

Everybody buys greetings cards - Christmas, birthdays, Easter, births, weddings, valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day - the list is almost endless. Unlike other business opportunities, the greetings card sector benefits from repeat business. Birthdays etc have a habit of coming round each year. Our range of cards, complimented by a range of matching gift wrap are printed in full colour. The cards are square 6" x 6"with matching colour co-ordinated envelopes to compliment the cards. These unique eye catching cards are flexible in their use and can be used for any occasion.The range of cards is ecologically friendly and constantly updated.

The Franchise

The role of the franchisee is to market the range of cards to independent retailers. You are able to help them turn unused floor space into another sales area and also offer them additional sales from a market that they currently may not deal with.

As a Keepsake Greetings franchisee you will be operating your own Greetings Card business, promoting Keepsake Greetings quality products, through our innovative marketing strategy which has been fully piloted

The business is easy and flexible to operate

A retail "spinner" is filled with greetings cards and placed in a retail shop at no cost to the retailer
   
The shop sells your cards
   
A call is made four weeks later to collect the money and replenish the cards

With Keepsake Greetings there are no royalty fees, licence fees and hidden extras. We make our money from the production of the cards themselves. This is important as it means "what you earn is all yours" and at the same time your ongoing success is important to us as the more cards you sell the more we earn as well.

Training and Support

We offer a complete training and support package which is designed to assist you every step of the way.

Training is a mixture of In-House training covering every aspect of the business and field training in your area by one of our team of sales trainers as we assist you in setting up your initial 10 sites.

Operational procedures are kept as simple as possible, and are all detailed in the comprehensive operations manual

The Costs

The costs of a Keepsake Greetings Card franchise starts at £3,950 for a mini area of 350,000 population and includes stock and stands for 10 sites together with back up stock. The standard package which supports an area of 700,000 people and includes stock and stands together with back up stock for 25 sites costs £7,450.
