universally means that there is some form of hydraulic component
in each business.
Each of these firms represents an opportunity for Pirtek products and services. The failure of hydraulic and other types of hoses, within plants or on site, directly affects the productivity of these companies. Ultimately the cost of goods produced and of services provided are also affected. Pirtek has become a highly valued supplier of these firms around the world.

In essence Pirtek is a marketing distributor of a wide range of hoses, fittings and associated products from a number of leading manufacturers, the local Pirtek Centre essentially becomes a regional or local distributor in its own right. Pirteks product selection criteria are extremely high. Each manufacturer must meet benchmark standards for quality, reliability, performance, technological innovation and product support which includes research and development, training and technical literature.
We are continuing to expand and develop new markets. We have already established outlets in Germany, Benelux and France. These outlets will enable us to obtain a greater understanding of these markets and will form the platform for further franchise openings throughout Europe.

This is but a few of the support services we offer, we are always at hand to give you as much support as you need to succeed, no Pirtek Centre has ever become bankrupt.
When combined the products and
services which the Pirtek Licensees sell normally produce a gross
profit margin of between 50-60% of the total of each individual
sale. At this level of margin, once the business becomes mature,
healthy 
and
consistent, profit levels can be maintained and a much bigger
business can be built up.
The cost of opening a typical Pirtek Centre is normally around £200,000 of which Pirtek can organise financing for two thirds of that amount. This means the prospective Licensee needs to have liquid capital resources of around £70,000. For this he will start his business operating from a 2,000 sq. ft ware house, fully equipped with plant machinery needed for manufacturing hose assemblies, computer hardware and software designed for the task and three mobile workshops, fully fitted out to be able to do 90% of the jobs they are called upon to do, and of course his start up products.
First year turnovers usually range for between £170,000 and £200,000 and grow to £500,000 in the 3-4 year period.
