The UK's largest
pizza chain
Pizza Hut in the UK is well on its way to becoming a billion-dollar business. In 2002 we opened our 500th store and we aim to double this number in the UK and Ireland over the next 6 years. Pizza Hut will achieve this growth by sharing its expansion with franchisees.

Hut needs entrepreneurs with drive, ambition, retail or food experience
and Total per store investment required depends on many factors, such as the site you choose and the building costs you are able to negotiate, but we would typically invest between £130,000 and £160,000 (excluding freehold and VAT). Most financial institutions would expect you to fund at least 30% yourself, and the rest through loan funding.
There is an argument for just getting on with things, for getting stuck in and learning by your mistakes as you go. But that isn’t what we believe in here at Pizza Hut. Just ask our Restaurant Managers. They’ve benefited from one of the most comprehensive training programmes around. They also receive ongoing support once their restaurant is up and running. And as a franchisee, you’ll benefit from all this too. The strength of Pizza Hut also lies in a combination of its product, customer service and media advertising. Pizza Hut is renowned for producing new types of pizza to meet changing times. Heavy media promotions in the press and on TV make sure the consumer is aware of what is on offer and how to get it. Customer service is exemplified by ideas such as service guarantee where the customer will get his next pizza for free if we fail to deliver a hot and on time product. The effectiveness of all this is shown by the fact that over 20% of the UK population will have enjoyed a Pizza Hut pizza over the last 3 months.
